François Hollande visited Cuba as the first French president since 1898 and called for the repeal of the US trade embargo against Cuba.
He met with the country's longtime leader Fidel Castro and also with his brother, current President Raul Castro. According to President Hollande, France will do everything possible to eliminate the "measure that has so badly damaged the development of Cuba". Informed the AFP.
