The United States have lifted trade and travel restrictions against Cuba. This comes a day before Pope Francis's weekend visit to Cuba.
On monday these changes already started to effect travel, telecom, and banking services. Selected US companies will be able to, for the first time in decades, open their branch offices in Cuba, despite the US embargo that remains in effect.
